El Santuario de Chimayo, the Lourdes of America
El Santuario (The Shrine) was built between l8l4 and l8l6. The miraculous crucifix of Our Lord of Esquipulas was found around l8l0. There is no written testimony concerning the apparition of Our Lord in the Chimayo area
