The Capitan Farmers’ Market is just one more reason to visit Capitan New Mexico, the home of Smokey Bear. The farmers’ market is open each Saturday between 8:00 am – 11:00 am, July – September. The market is located at Capitan Country Emporium, 115 Smokey Bear Blvd., across the street from the Smokey Bear Historical Park.
